HOW TO SOLVE CONTROL AND ELECTRICAL ISSUES ON A PRIMUS STERILIZER

Take a look at these points when troubleshooting controls & electrical issues on a PRIMUS sterilizer.

The battery in the UPS was bad and had not been replaced.

The Opto 22 rack is loose. The Opto 22 rack could have a piece of foam on top of it with the controller placed on the foam.

The dual power supply is not bolted down to the back plate.

The gasket pressure switch failed closed. Loose connections and wrong type of switch may be the problem.

The drain solenoid valve has a wrong coil on it. Wires are twisted together and covered with electrical tape.

The steam-to-jacket valve has a wrong coil on it. Wires are twisted together and covered with electrical tape.
